We’ve compiled a list of tasty low-calorie snacks for you to munch on, plus five super simple bingo wings exercises you can do at home. Enjoy waving at the bingo without worrying about embarrassing, wobbling arm fat!

It's All About Balance

Fad diets, weird weight loss tricks: there are a million of them in the world, all claiming to give stunning results, but most will just leave you frustrated and hungry. Life, just like health and weight loss, is about finding the right balance for you.

You might not be the gym bunny type, you might not have the funds or the time, but there are little things that you can do at home in order to stay in shape to look and feel great!

In order to lose weight, you simply have to burn more calories than you consume. Of course, that’s easier said than done, especially when almost everything that you crave is oh-so bad for you. But low-calorie doesn’t have to mean low on taste.

Here are some healthy snack alternatives to beat those naughty temptations while you play real money bingo.

Homemade Popcorn

Popcorn not only smells delicious, but it’s also tasty and has very few calories compared to other snacks. 20g of popped corn will give you a small bowlful with less than a 100 calories.

Just don’t be tempted to load it with sugar (or smother it in toffee)! Instead, try a dash of cinnamon or chilli powder and spices to tickle your taste buds!

Frozen Yogurt

If you often find solace at the bottom of an ice-cream tub, then frozen yogurt will be your new best friend. It has all the same creamy taste but with less calories.

Still, be careful with sugar content and watch your portion size: just because it’s slightly better doesn’t mean you can eat the whole container!

Baby Carrots And Hummus

If it’s the crunch factor you're looking for, then baby carrots are a great alternative to crisps. Slice them thin and pair them with a yummy hummus dip to satisfy the need for comfort foods.

Any raw fruit and veg will be a great crunch substitute, and will satisfy taste buds and hunger pangs whilst giving you some extra nutrients!

Olives

We all know that savoury can be just as sinful as sweet. So for those of you who prefer salty snacks, a little bowl of olives will do the trick. They're packed full of good-for-you stuff like, Vitamin E, antioxidants and healthy fats.

Black olives have less calories than green ones, and contain more iron and less sodium. Buying un-pitted olives will help you eat them more slowly.

Cheese and Crackers

Yes, you can still enjoy cheese while you’re watching your weight! If you are a cheese-fiend, this is news to shout about! Opt for a low-fat, mature cheddar. It has a lower calorie count, but still has a mature taste.

Using a vegetable peeler will help you get nice and thin slices to prevent overloading. You can have a couple water crackers, topped with tasty, tangy cheese. Add slices of gherkin or a dollop of chutney, and you've got yourself a fancy snack!

Chocolate...Yes, You Can Still Enjoy Your Favourite Treat

Completely abstaining from something like chocolate can lead to binging later, so it is much better to build it in to your daily calorie quota.

Instead of reaching for the standard sized bars, pick up the fun sized version of your favourites. This way you get to enjoy your favourite chocolate bar but with fewer calories. For example, a regular-sized Kit-Kat is 233kcal, while the 2-finger bar contains just 107kcal.

Low fat chocolate candy bars or mousses and hot chocolate are great ways to get that chocolate fix without breaking the calorie bank.

How to Tone Your Bingo Wings

Now we have the calories under control, we need to burn off that excess fat. One thing that's important to point out is that you can’t see reduced body fat… what you SEE is the building and toning of muscle. In order to get a lean look anywhere on your body, you have to work on those muscles and burn fat simultaneously.

If you want to blast those bingo wings, you’ll need to work the biceps and triceps of the upper arm. There are so many exercises that you can do at home, and take no time at all, so you can easily get in a bingo wings workout before you play on the top bingo site. We've narrowed it down to 5 top exercise tips to tone bingo wings.

1. Push-Ups

There are lots of variations of the classic push-up which you can do to exercise those biceps and triceps. The standard floor push-up that everyone loves to hate targets the whole area of the arms, shoulders and chest, so it’s a good all-rounder.

If pushing up from the ground on your toes is too difficult, start off on your knees until you build up strength. If you can't make even a single push-up try some alternatives.

Close Grip Wall Push Ups

If you want to focus on triceps, a good variation is the close-grip wall push up. Face the wall an arms-length away and place your palms flat on the wall, shoulder-width apart. Keeping your elbows close your body, lean in towards the wall and push yourself back out to the starting position.

ncline Triceps Push Up

Use a desk, stairs, or the side of your bed to push off, rather than the wall. There are multiple variations you can try. Once you can do 20 reps of these, try moving to the floor for regular push ups.

2. Chair Dips

Find yourself a firm and sturdy chair and on a non-slippy surface. Sit on the edge of the chair with your hand behind your hips. Lift your butt from the chair and walk your feet forward just a step. Make sure your hands are well placed at the edge of the chair for good grip.

Now, lower your body downwards bending your arms to a 90 degree angle, then extend your arms again lifting your body upwards. Repeat about 8 times, take a rest, and complete another 8. This is a great work out for those triceps.

3. Triceps Kickbacks

Kneel down on your right knee and lean forwards slightly. Raise your left elbow behind you just a little, keeping the arm bent at about 90 degrees. This is your starting position. You can also perform the exercising standing.

Now, straighten your left arm, extending it behind you. Bend your elbow to return to the starting position and repeat 10 to 15 times. Switch knees and repeat the exercise with the right arm. This does work better with some weight (to make those triceps work) but grab a couple of bottles of water and you’re all set. Simple and effective!

4. Half-moon Rotations

This one works the biceps, triceps and shoulders and must be the easiest exercise to do. Done properly, it’ll burn, but it’ll work.

Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and extend your arms out straight like wings. Keeping your shoulders down, do 20 small backward circles, then switch directions; do 20 forward circles.

Your arms should start to burn now. Hold your arms out still for a further 20 seconds. You can do this with or without weights. Don’t have weights? Again, no problem, grab a couple of tins from the cupboard and get rotating!

5. Reverse Plank Dips

No one likes the plank, but it is one of the most rewarding exercises and needs no special equipment.

Start off by sitting on the floor with your hands behind you, with your fingers pointing towards you. Set your shoulders back and lift your chest. Now, pull those tummy muscles in, clench your butt, and drive your hips up towards the ceiling. Slowly lower your butt to floor and repeat.

Bye Bye to Bingo Wings!
